Join author, broadcaster and journalist Jon Savage and Welsh music legend Rhys Mwyn for a Monty Lit Fest Late Lounge that’ll live long in the memory. Jon will be discussing his writing life – from sleevenotes to bestselling books about punk rock, teenagers and, most recently, the role gay performers have played in popular culture.

The Secret Public looks at key moments in music and entertainment history between 1955 and 1979 which helped move gay culture from the margins to the mainstream and changed the face of pop forever – from the ambiguous sexuality of Little Richard in the 1950s through David Bowie and glam rock to Sylvester’s You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real).

Don’t miss this chance to meet one of the UK’s top music writers.
