The ability to create convincing and three-dimensional characters is at the heart of any fiction writing. So how can you get them right?

In this session, the first of two over the Festival weekend designed for writers and aspiring writers, Tim Pears offers tips on how to vary, and intensify, the ways we describe people in our stories to depict their character and/or personality.

It’s the chance to learn from a top author and creative writing tutor. Spaces are limited (20 people maximum), so grab your notebook or laptop and book your tickets now.
