Children’s storytime with Caryl Davies

Time: 11.00am – 1.00pm, with a rolling programme for different age groups

Join local storyteller, Caryl Davies, for stories and songs in a series of sessions for young children of all ages. 
 
Saturday 10th June: 
Under 5s:     11.00am:  Noisy Farm by Rod Campbell – and a bag story
                        12.00pm The Hugasaurus by Rachel Bright – and songs
 
5 – 7 years:    11.20am: 10 Minutes to Bed Little Fairy by Rhiannon Fielding
                         12.20pm: The Three Horrid Pigs and the Big Friendly Wolf by Liz Pichon
 
7-9 years:     11.40am:  The Golden Touch 
                        12.40pm:  Rip van Winkle
 
Sunday 11th June:
Under 5s:     11.00am: What Dinosaur Am I by Peter Curtis  – and nursery rhymes
                        12.00pm:  The Tickle Book by Ian Whybrow  – and a bag story
 
5 – 7 years:   11.20am;  10 Minutes to Bed Little Dinosaur by Rhiannon Fielding
                        12.20pm: The Best Party in the World by Claudia Ranucci
 
7 – 9 years:    11.40am: The Sword in the Stone
                        12.40pm:  The Old Woman and her Pig 
 

Each session will last c15 minutes. 

The sessions are free, but we ask that children are accompanied by an adult throughout.
 
Caryl Davies loves literacy and loves to help children find a love of books and stories. She works at Montgomery Primary School as an after-school club and pre-school leader and volunteers for story time at Montgomery Library every week. Since “retiring”, she has achieved a Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies, a Degree in Education and Master’s Degree in ALN Dyslexia.
