Monty Mini Fest is delighted to welcome Nicola Davies to talk about her books Skrimsli<\/em> and The<\/em> Song That Sings Us <\/em>and her role as Children\u2019s Laureate Wales. The session will also include a short interactive writing workshop.<\/p>

Nicola Davies<\/strong>\u00a0is an award-winning author whose many books for children include the highly acclaimed Skrimsli<\/em> (Firefly, 2023) and double Carnegie nominated\u00a0The Song That Sings Us<\/em>\u00a0(Firefly, 2021). Nicola graduated in Zoology from King’s College, Cambridge, and studied geese, bats and whales before becoming a presenter for The Really Wild Show and the BBC Natural History Unit. She has been writing for children for more than 20 years.\u00a0<\/p>

Age: 12+<\/p><\/div>

As this session is for young adults, children over the age of 11 can attend without an adult.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
