Gruff and his new friend Matylda live on a small island off the Welsh coast, where legends are\u00a0beginning to stir. Islanders find themselves irresistibly\u00a0drawn to the Sleeping Stones, a line of rocks\u00a0like stepping stones out to sea, and Gruff and Mat soon realise they must risk everything to save\u00a0each\u00a0other and their community from a terrifying storm driven by an ancient, magic anger.<\/p>

Hear Beatrice Wallbank share her inspirations for writing magical stories, and spark ideas for your next story by thinking about what kind of place it happens in. Will this interactive workshop lead you down a spooky overgrown path or along a wild, stormy beach? You decide!<\/p>

Beatrice Wallbank <\/strong>grew up in mid-Wales, surrounded by sheep. When not wandering about in wild places thinking about stories she works backstage in theatre, storytelling in a different form.
