How do we organise time in our stories? How do we balance short scenes that take place in a few minutes with the long sweep of months or years? What does time mean to our characters and how does it affect plot?<\/p>

Author and creative writing tutor, Jacqueline Yallop will lead a session where you\u2019ll look at examples and work on exercises to explore the mysteries of time so that you can work more confidently with multiple timeframes in your writing. No experience needed\u00a0 – but bring any and all ideas you might have.<\/p>

Jacqueline Yallop<\/strong> is an award-winning author of fiction and creative non-fiction. Her latest book,\u00a0Into the Dark<\/em>, looks at darkness in all its forms. Her novel,\u00a0Obedience<\/em>\u00a0was nominated for the Man Booker Prize and\u00a0Big Pig Little Pig<\/em>\u00a0a memoir, was Radio 4 Book of the Week. Her work has been translated into several languages. She currently teaches Creative Writing at the University of Aberystwyth, where she is based.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
