What's on in Montgomery

As well as the main programme, there’ll be so much to see and do in Montgomery over the Festival weekend that we’re sure you’ll want to make a day or weekend of it.

The historic town of Montgomery lies in the Welsh Marches, ideally placed for visitors from all directions.

The Festival is centred around Montgomery’s Town Hall, together with a range of other venues throughout the town.

Bookshops

Visitors to Monty Lit Fest have two local booksellers to choose from:

Oswestry’s Booka Bookshop runs a pop-up bookshop with author signings at Montgomery Town Hall during the event.

Montgomery is also home to The Montgomery Bookshop on Arthur Street, staunch supporters of the Festival in the local community.
